Actor Jim Lautenbach has performed a spectrum of roles with notable and varied theatre companies, including: Door Shakespeare, Door Off-Broadway, American Folklore Theatre, Green Bay Community Theatre, Third Avenue Playhouse, Isadoora Theatre Company and Teatro Caravaggio. Based in Wisconsin, Lautenbach grew up in Door County and attended Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Prominent roles have included: Tom in THE GLASS MENAGERIE, Angelo in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, Hortensio/Litio in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, Owen Musser in THE FOREIGNER, Peter in THE ZOO STORY and Jesus in GODSPELL.

Additionally, Lautenbach originated the role of Jason in the World Premiere of Mark Steven Jensen's THE BENEVOLENT WOMEN'S CRAFT SOCIETY at Green Bay Community Theatre.

During the holiday season, Lautenbach presents David Sedaris' one-man show THE SANTALAND DIARIES at various venues.

Lautenbach serves as a board member for Door Shakespeare in Door County. He also has experience directing, stage managing and working backstage and producing. He is also a graphic designer who has designed original logos and publicity materials for numerous shows and productions.

Lautenbach performs throughout Wisconsin as well as in the Chicago area.
